Making Healthy Clean Babies

The Making Healthy Babies Preconception Program for GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) parents and everyone else planning a pregnancy.

I see many children who have been diagnosed with ADHD and ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Testing consistently reveals environmental toxins, heavy metals, and microbiome dysbiosis lacking necessary microbial diversity.

My first task is to correct the microbiome by gently detoxing the pathogens while replacing them with beneficial flora. This process always sees a reduction in environmental toxins and heavy metals.

Nutritional biochemistry explains the toll of heavy metals on health. Aluminium, copper (inorganic), mercury, lead, and many more are in our environment and bodies if the microbiome is unhealthy. They block the uptake of nutrients. A body that can’t access adequate minerals and vitamins struggles to be healthy and fertile. Neurotransmitter and hormone production become limited with serious health outcomes. In a healthy body with a balanced microbiome, the liver will detox the heavy metals.

Overall, exposure to environmental toxins can reduce fertility potential in both men and women. It can prolong the time it takes to conceive and increase the likelihood of needing assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). These toxins will be transferred to your baby before birth. The firstborn child detoxes the mother, in effect, taking one for the sibling team.

How our bodies have come to be impacted by these toxins is easily accounted for over the past generation.

It has everything to do with industrialisation from chemicals in food production and processing, toxins in personal care and domestic products, abundant use of plastics, medications like the Pill, overuse of antibiotics, and constant exposure to solvents and diesel gases.

Managing health and fertility is up to the individual. Government and industry are profit-driven and that is their focus.

When it comes to fertility, every pregnancy now needs to be managed with a 3-4 month preconception program, targeted at cleaning up toxins and building up the body with necessary nutrients and a robust microbiome. That is the best guarantee for you to conceive easily, have a trouble-free pregnancy without miscarriage, and give birth to a healthy baby. Your baby’s microbiome will mirror yours.  Neurodiverse diagnoses will not come your way, and development will be ‘old’ normal.

The GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) program

The GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) program is a nutritional protocol developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, a medical doctor with a focus on neurology and nutrition. While the GAPS program primarily gained recognition for its application in addressing conditions related to gut health and neurological disorders, it provides an excellent foundation for increasing fertility potential in women and men, ensuring their babies are born with a robust microbiome and free of heavy metals and environmental toxins which will ultimately impact development.

*The GAPS protocol focuses on healing the gut through dietary changes, supplementation, detoxification, and lifestyle modifications. It emphasizes the consumption of nutrient-dense foods such as bone broth, fermented vegetables, healthy fats, and probiotic-rich foods while avoiding processed foods, grains, sugars, and other potential gut irritants. It offers the Intro GAPS Diet for deep gut healing and the Full GAPS Diet which can be adopted as a diet for life.
